Membership and cancellation is a scam. I attended a free intro class and then was offered to join a two month half off trial. Not only was I lied about that it was going to be full membership , they kept on charging me after two months and did not cancel the membership despite me calling them to cancel the membership. They continued to charge for another month before I told them again to cancel it.Their free intro class cost me 540$. So I will highly recommend to clear the membership and cancellation policy as they are quite dubious.

My kids and I have been going to MKG for over a year now. We tried a few other places before deciding on MKG. I was specifically looking for a place that had great coaching and skill development for youth. The youth coaches are fantastic and the curriculum hits on a lot of different skills and has both cardio and strength training components. The coaches are responsive, skilled, and create an environment of focused learning and fun for all levels. My kids like to practice their kali stick patterns together at home for fun without being asked. Also, the gym itself is very inclusive. I take an adult class while my kids have class, and because there are so many long-time students who are happy to teach newcomers the basics, it feels like a private lesson every time I go. Classes are both a physical and mental workout, so it’s a phenomenal way to forget about a stressful day at work. Another plus is they are really flexible with the membership. We took a break this winter because my kids were on a speedskating team, and it was very easy to pause the membership and pick up where we left off. We really enjoy being members of the MKG community.

I dropped in a few Saterday's here and there. I explained that I live a long ways away. they have the friendliest staff. The wealth of their instructors in mind blowing. So many disciplines taught there to learn.

If you are even remotely interested in trying muay thai, kali, bjj or other forms of martial arts, I highly recommend doing a trial at MKG. I have been going here for around 7 months now and it has been one of the best things I have done for my body and mind. First, about the company; all the instructors are lovely people who are entirely there to help you succeed. They are experts at what they teach and know how to give you individual attention and advice. You won't pay an arm and a leg for somebody to not know your name after 4 months and teach you mediocre Americanized martial arts. The gym's culture will push you to do your best but isn't toxic or negatively competitive. I have come to look forward to seeing the people I train with there and will often stay longer just to talk with them. Another thing I will say about a workout in itself: I have left the gym absolutely drained, and I have left not even having broken a sweat. You get what you put into it, and if your goal is a good workout, you can most definitely find that here, though it might take a while in technical classes like Kali since you move slow at the beginning. The gym itself is spacious and has plenty of room to train, stretch, weight lift, you name it. There is also room to grow within the gym: training seminars with experts from wherever, camps, a yearly international event, and so much more.
