About Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid
Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid is a business that offers free lawyers and advocates to individuals in the community who require their services. They serve clients with limited means in twenty central Minnesota counties, including Benton, Big Stone, Chippewa, and others, as well as clients who are 60 years and older in an additional seven counties. One client who sought their help was an eleven-year-old girl and her parent, who were dealing with issues involving their property management and neighbors. The property manager had created a fraudulent paper trail and filed a court-ordered eviction. The client found the intake process to be straightforward and unintimidating, and the staff member they spoke with was patient and understanding, restoring hope to their situation. The client was then connected with an attorney named Max Tsai, who was described as proactive and an excellent communicator. Max assured the client that they were in good hands and had a "no-nonsense" demeanor, making him an amazing attorney. Max's supervisor, Evan, was also praised for overseeing the case and ensuring the client received the justice they deserved. Another client received help from Julia and Allen, and while they didn't initially see a positive outcome, they were able to "squeeze a bit of what I was owed" with persistence, patience, and consistency. The business also received praise for having a wonderful attorney who worked hard for a client and went out of their way as a caring person to provide additional legal advice. In summary, Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid provides free lawyers and advocates to clients in need, and the staff and attorneys are praised for their hard work, communication, patience, and persistence in achieving positive outcomes for their clients.

Shortly after I spoke with her, I was connected to an amazing attorney, Max Tsai. Max is proactive in all areas. Especially, the way he communicates. Max assures...read full review
Got the help I needed with Julia and Allen. Even when I didn’t see an adequate outcome in my future, somehow with persistence, patience, and consistency we were able to squeeze a bit of what I was owed out from the (would be) defendants.
good service and support in Spanish and English but I think there are little things that should be investigated more or perhaps how it is a voluntary service is also what they can do. , even if what they helped me with was fine ..
