If I could give this firm zero stars I would... I contacted Xavier after getting my first DUI. He asked me a little bit about my situation and then told me "Washington County is a piece of cake." Of course that made me confident enough to hire him to represent me. I did the intake with a younger kid at the firm and put down $2,000. The young kid said the next $2,000 is "due in a month and a half." No specific date. Nothing. I agreed though. A few weeks later I have court and I learn that another guy from the firm will be representing me. Okay, fine. I was very clear in my communication that I'm hiring for negotiations because the officers were respectful and I was wrong. At court, there was a gentleman without an attorney dealing with the exact same thing I was. He was offered a deal by the state. After pleading not guilty, the attorney I never met called me and said he had a deal as if I didn't listen to the man in front of me get the same deal. From there, I knew there wasn't going to be an outcome that is worth $4,000. Right after the call, I emailed them to let them know that I wish to proceed on my own and get my money back. Keep in mind they've spent 20 minutes with me in court and have $2,000 of mine. The very next day they pulled another $2,000 out of my bank account. I was upset. My account went negative because I had zero warning and I just told them I want to essentially fire them. I texted with their client relationship lady daily for answers on when my money will be back. She kept saying "I'll look into it." It took 3 weeks to get back my first $2,000 because Xavier was on vacation and apparently the only person that can approve. Finally, I did receive it. I begged for my next $2,000 back and told them they can take some for their time (20 minutes). They've been unresponsive since. Their "finance guy" Jose just kept telling me only $2,000 was approved. I have yet to receive the other half of my money and it's been now 5 weeks. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. I see they comment on these reviews to reach out to them and I'm just going to laugh when they do the same thing and I've been trying to get answers for 5 weeks now. Be better. Extremely unprofessional.

I recommend this law firm, for Latinos who do not speak English, they are very friendly and professional and their assistants are very nice people, they take care of you very well, like Miss Eliana, thank you very much for everything

The most impressive thing for me when I worked with Xavier Martine was the attention I received. He was always prompt in returning my calls, thorough at communicating my options and didn’t make me feel like another “number.” Facing criminal charges was terrifying, particularly when I didn’t understand that I had done anything wrong! Xavier made me feel like a person, not a criminal. That really meant a lot to me! I am grateful.

Xavier is him ! And his team is them ! Got into a situation a few years back and him and his firm took care of it with no issue. Their attention to detail was amazing and their pricing unmatched. I recommend Martine Law to anyone and everyone.
