Katherine is an absolute delight. She is so thorough and kind and spent so much time with me on my initial visit making sure she covered all of the bases. I really like the home care suggestions she printed for me to take home- you can tell she really listens and cares. I will absolutely be going back as I am already feeling better after just one session! Thanks Katherine :)

Kathrine is an amazing practitioner. I saw her pre surgery for ovarian cancer. She helped me prepare my body for surgery, and for recovery. She was a huge blessing and a critical part of my success story. She is a fountain informant and knowledge.

I've been working with Katherine for a few years. Here is the back story. I had terrible hot flashes. So bad my head was completely wet; and when at work, that's not great. At night I would have to have at least two shirts and two towels. Sleeping was an issue.I've never seen anyone who practiced non-western medicine but I had to do something. Katherine was recommended. Now I knew I had some issues with some foods and I could control my stomach issues with the amounts I was taking in for each. When I saw Katherine, she was able to "read" what all my food issues were, among other things. She gave me a recommendation and I took it. I was off all medications in less than a month. I wasn't on any life-saving medications, just stuff for "women in that age range".I started drinking more water. I lost size and felt amazing. I was very strict for about a year with her recommendations and everything has paid off. I can control, when I have hot flashes (that aren't that bad anymore if I have one) and my migraines now. I know what will set both off.She explains everything and has taught me so much. Her presence is very calming, which is the total opposite of mine. One thing that bothers me tremendously about Katherine....she always knows when I eat MM's, or too much of anything I probably shouldn't be. Can't get anything by her.One of the best things I've done for myself...ever! It has been a tremendous experience.

Katherine is amazing. She has her Master's Degree and really knows what she's doing. She does acupuncture, cupping, nutritional response testing, you name it! I have been going to her for 10 years, and she has helped me immeasurably. She has a calm, comforting demeanor and also a nice new office that is different than the address Yelp lists for her. She is currently at 3249 Hennepin Ave S, Minneapolis. Make an appointment today for any ailment you might have - joints, tendons, back pain, knee pain, emotional pain, allergies, food sensitivities, unexplained pain - she will make you feel better no matter what issues you have. And don't be afraid of the needles. She uses the very smallest ones she can, so it's not like getting a shot or having blood drawn. The needles are very thin. You will love your experience!

In my job I sometimes try to lift a little too much and hurt my back or pull some other muscle. Every time I go through the same routine... I try to get over it on my own for a few days and stretch it out. Usually this just results in me extending the time my back's aching for. After trying to tough it out I always call and make an appointment with Katherine. If the pain is really bad it might take a couple visits, but the moment the needles start going in I feel relief. When I've gone to the doctor for illnesses, they'll usually recommend some type or another of pharmaceutical and tell me, try this and see if it doesn't work. When I see Katherine she does pulse testing of her hand crafted herbal medicines to find out which medicine I need before I even leave the office. No guessing and hoping that there won't be side effects, just the plant medicines I need to get me up and going. Since I found out how fast she can help my back heal, I've gone to her for dozens of different health issues from cold and flu to stomach aches. I've even gone in for an acupuncture treatment to help me get over a broken heart after a break-up. No matter what ails me, Katherine helps me get back on the healing track. I've recommended her to family, friends, and clients alike. Her warmth and healing skills keep folks coming back.

Katherine Krumwiede was fantastic. It was my first time doing acupuncture and she made me feel very comfortable. She talked me through everything she was doing and explained why she was doing it. She's obviously very knowledgeable and has gone through extensive training in oriental medicine. I went back for another session and she did more to enhance the treatment. Not only did she do basic acupuncture (with more needles this time, because I knew what to expect this time around), she also did cupping on me with no extra charge for the appointment. She's really about 'home care' and made sure to send me home with tinctures, probiotics and suggestions of things I could do myself to lead a healthier lifestyle. All in all both times were a great experience, and while right now going regularly for me isn't a necessity, I will definitely be back in the future. Note: Katherine's acupuncture business is in the building called Avenues of Heath, across the street from the Walgreen's and Kowalski's on Hennepin Ave. She shares the building with a couple of chiropractors and a massage therapist. It's kind of weird when you first walk in because you feel like you're walking into someones house, but don't be thrown off, it adds to the warm feel of the place!
