My best friend and I stopped in on a whim to get tattoos and Charlie Mendez was the absolute sweetest and gave us a great experience and great tattoos. I highly recommend him. Especially for a walk in, you can't get a better artist!

Me and my fiance came in for matching tattoos and a personal one for me. We got our tattoo done by Randy, He is AMAZING very laid back and patient I had a last minute change with my personal tattoo he had absolutely no problem with it if anything he was very stoked with what I chose and was pretty fun to talk to during the tattoo process, pricing with time is very reasonable, another thing is he does not charge for color which I found awesome! His shading with colors and just in general is cool and unique, check him out he’ll definitely take care of ya!

Hands down the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. Broken Heart Tattoo is everything you want in a shop—professional, safe, clean, welcoming, fun, and full of great people.
Akae is truly an artist. He really listened to what I wanted, and made it happen in a way that far exceeded my expectations. His attention to detail, calm energy, and steady hand made the whole process smooth and enjoyable
I live 6 hours away, and I’m already planning my next trip back just to have him continue work on my arm. That’s how good the whole experience was, and how happy I am with his art. (Updated to add healed photo).

This place is lovely! Everyone I spoke to was really nice and I got this really vivid tattoo for a very manageable price. My favorite part of getting a tattoo is seeing how an artist artist interprets my ideas and Charlie went above and beyond, especially considering I came as a walk-in two hours before they closed. I guess that’s from doing tattoos as long as I have been alive.
My one note is that they don’t use saniderm or any other kind of second skin bandage but they had great sanitation practices and I’ll take it for the price and my chance tochar with Charlie and the person at the front desk

I am very happy with the results obtained with the tattoo that Charlie did for me. Although I disliked him a little, he is a great tattoo artist. I 100% recommend getting a tattoo from him, his work is very spectacular.

Called at 7:50pm inquiring about a walk in. Arrived 15 minutes later & walked out at 10:05pm with a beautiful tattoo — Huge thanks to Charlie!!!!! It was clear from the moment we started that he is thorough and precise. I couldn’t be happier about my impulse decision to walk in to Broken Hearts :)

I stopped to peek at some flash for a quick walk in and got way more than expected. Jason knocked out an insanely clean and well placed Henry Hablak piece and I’m in love! AJ and all the artists I chatted with at the shop were super laid back, kind people and the vibe of the shop made it a welcoming and fun spot to spend a few hours.
