“Went to MFairview Health Urgent Care in Eagan last night for a painful knee problem. The wait was fairly long but I had learned from a different Urgent Care organization that Urgent Care means that you don't need an appointment--not that they will see you within 10 minutes. The staff were great, especially Dr. Andrea Wojahn, who was very personable and extremely knowledgeable. She listened to me, asked great questions to quickly gather needed information, and discussed a plan to help me. And she shared a little bit about herself during the course of all that, which I thought was lovely and relatable. If I ever need to go to an Urgent Care again my choice is easy.“

“Inclusive clinic with absolutely amazing staff. Especially the nurses, and Dr. Darnell. They are compassionate and dedicated. They treat everyone as an equal. I got my full hysterectomy here when I was 24. Best decision of my life. They helped me do what was best for my body. Darnell took it as seriously as I did. Other doctors tried to gaslite me into thinking a nine month long "period" and blackouting out due to pain were "normal women things". This clinic saved my life and I am forever grateful. “This was the best hospital/urgent care experience I have ever had! Everyone in the office was extremely caring and respectful, and treated me like a real human being. Even though I was struggling pretty hard that day, they did everything they could to ensure that I was well taken care of. And since I was unfamiliar with the area, they even took the extra time to help me locate a good pharmacist that they knew would take care of me and the prescriptions I needed. “I've had many positive experiences at the lab over the past year. I've been to the lab several times. Like the rest of this facility, it's super efficient, fast, and relatively painless. I've never had to wait more than 10 of 15 minutes before I got service...whether it was a blood draw or an X-ray. The RFID thing always seems to catch me off guard. When you're standing in front of staff at the main desk, they know exactly who you are! Your RFID tag tells them. They still have to ask you and confirm. But still...it's pretty cool. As a side benefit, the 1st floor lab entrance is very close to the piano. So while waiting in the lobby, you're often soothed by the music of live piano, a harp, or (like last week), a guitar player! “This is a nice FREE clinic. They have a lot of support and comprehensive care! You go into the clinic and the receptionists will check you in. You are seen in order of first-come first serve. Then a nurse will see you. After the nurse, a patient care lead will see you. This person will advocate for you and they also have Spanish translators if you need it. If they think that you are at a high risk for kidney disease or have a family history of someone with kidney disease, the medical clinician will order a lab test for you. A lab technician checks your urine to check your kidney function. After, you can go on with your normal visit. There’s also pharmacy clinician who comes up with the best plan for medications you can take. They then go to see a doctor and s/he will come in to see you and give you the prescription. After, they send you to the pharmacy and you can get a month supply of prescription medication for free. The whole process takes 1-2 hours because everyone here is a student volunteer but if you have time, they provide very thorough care!“
