“Even on my first drop-in visit to see if they had acupuncturists who could help my condition (trigeminal neuralgia), they were most welcoming, positive & professional. My first appointment was a couple days later, with Gemma Beck who holds a doctorate(PhD) in Acupuncture & Oriental medecine. I have used other acupuncture in the past so I had some idea what to expect. Gemma exceeded any expectations, was most patient and friendly, professional & made sure I was comfortable through the treatment, after taking a thorough medical & medication history. I actually experienced a small measure of pain reduction of a tough nerve pain on the first visit. I look forward to seeing Gemma again soon and exploring how some Chinese herbal medicine can enhance my healing! Western doctors had me on strong medicines that robbed my body of sodium and put me in the hospital. So glad to have found something that may relieve this pain permanently without harming my body & degrading my quality of life.”
“Attended a gong sound bath and enjoyed it! Everyone was so kind and inviting. Ample space and mats/chairs/bolsters/blankets to make sure you are comfortable! “This chiropractor does amazing work. I have been receiving treatment with him on and off for well over 20 years. The spinal decompression machine helped me with my tumor on my spine. Did not cure it but made it manageable for me to live with it. Never knew I had one until January of 2025. The shockwave treatment was also really helpful with multiple treatments from my car accident in 2005 and again in 2025 for other treatment. His staff is super supportive and honestly you are not going to be in better hands. Highly recommend as the treatment he recommends is taylored to your situation. Not a one size fits all. The treatment in 2005 my car accident left me struggling to sit up and walk and after months of treatment he brought me back to walking again. Dr. Lavell is always ready to answer all questions and address all concerns. He really is the best in the state. Worth the drive if you live far.
