We had an appointment at 10:30 AM and it got to be 10:55 AM and we were still sitting here. We were the only other customers in there and she just started cutting another kids hair in our appointment time slot. She said it would be 15 minutes and we waited 25 minutes and she is still cutting the other girls hair.

Both stylists were very patient with my first time hair-cuts. They had advice about curly hair, which I know nothing about. Would definitely recommend for anyone whose kids can be demanding or fussy.

This location is absolutely the WORST location. I would give it zero stars if I was able. We had an appointment and arrived 5 minutes before said appointment. There were so backed up that there were so many people in there, most of us had to stand. After waiting 30 minutes past my appointment, I asked how much longer it'd be and was told I was next. They also had told multiple others that went up and asked that question the same response. They tool 2 others back before they called my daughters name, 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment.
None of the staff were friendly, or smiled at all. They never even said a word to any of the kids who's hair they were cutting. The stylist was so rough on my daughters hair that she had tears in her eyes and just wanted to get out of there. From the looks on other patrons faces, they felt the same. I will NEVER be returning to this location again.

First off I will say this is not the normal location and I have had nothing but good things to say about Kids Hair Maple Grove (all the staff there is fantastic!) but we will never go back to the Minnetonka location.
We got to the location a few minutes before the appointment (didn’t have a specific person). I asked how long the wait time was because the lobby was busy and my son has sensory issues causing it really hard to wait long periods. The lady told me it would be five minutes. Thirty minutes passed and my son was definitely unregulated. I asked the lady again how much longer it would be and she said 5 minutes. In that time, a staff member took back an individual who arrived at the location after us. When I called that out she just told me to wait. I informed her I would not wait any longer ( my son was starting to break down and throw toys) and left.
The staff there seemed incompetent, the store wasn’t the cleanest, and the wait times were ridiculous. People I spoke to while waiting said they waited almost an hour before being taken back.
Only go there if you want to wait long periods.

Made an appointment online and arrived at that time but we weren’t seen until 20 minutes after that. Haircut should’ve been done by then. See if I had shown up 20 minutes late to this appointment I would’ve been turned away I’m sure but it’s fine for them to be late I guess.
The stylist was kind and did a great job with the cut but the scheduling and timing here need some work big time. It’s just not feasible with young kids for a simple trim to take that long. It was nearly an hour of our time with all the waiting and it should’ve been 20 minutes at most. We probably won’t be back to this location.

I will never be back. This was my child's fourth haircut at this salon, and his second with Haley. She did his first haircut and I didn't love it. I should have left when I saw that she was the only stylist available at our appointment time. She has no patience for children and doesn't attempt to connect with them or comfort them. I would be able to handle that if the haircut was good, but we actually had to take my son home and buzz his hair because the haircut was so bad. So, I paid $30 for a haircut that I went home and redid.
She essentially gave my child a bowl haircut that was uneven and choppy.

Stylist: Mojdeh is our kids’ stylist. She is a true professional at what she does. She’s so kind and friendly with our children. We will go back for sure. Highly recommended! A+++

I had a bang trim scheduled for my daughter on Sunday, April 7 at Kids Hair Minnetonka. I made the appointment through the website a few days ago and received two text confirmations. When we arrived, the salon was dark and the door was locked. We waited for 20 minutes, but no one showed up. I am pretty annoyed that we drove out to the salon only to find it closed. I am not sure I can trust future appointments at this salon given the poor lack of communication. We’ve had a good experience up until this point.
