They offered several ways to contact them.Details: Gunnar Electric responded promptly to my request to fix a broken GFCI outlet that, once I saw the snarly wiring from a prior DIYer, clearly needed a pro to verify before making this otherwise-simple repair. Gunnar’s scheduler said that an electrician would be at my house between 10 and 2, and would call in advance. I got a call about 10-15 minutes before 10, at time BRIAN (5 stars) arrived promptly, greeted me by name and shared his name with a nice handshake. I showed him the mess. He’d already seen the pictures I’d emailed in advance showing the possible problem. He got his tools, then quickly and quietly replaced the outlet. He cleaned up any dust and debris, and was done in under 20 minutes. $165 well spent: I can trust that my house won’t burn down (at least, not due to THAT electrical DIY nightmare).“

“I had Pete and Leighton out to trouble shoot a bathroom light fixture issue. I was also looking to do some upgrades to my electrical system and needed a new circuit installed as well and wanted an estimate. I was pleasantly surprised. The cost for the work done for bathroom light issue was completely reasonable. It ended up being a bad light switch. It cost almost half what another electrical company charged for replacing a different bad switch only a few months earlier.I discussed at length with Pete my concerns for my current electrical issues and upgrades. He put together estimates and recommendations that broke down each option that helped me prioritize my next steps. There was no hard sale or pressure. I had them upgrade the electrical panel, installation a new circuit and replace all devices (switched and sockets) in my home. They also checked all light fixtures wiring. They found many of my devices weren’t even grounded and were very shoddily installed. That is terrifying.They really made sure to give me the VIP treatment.I have had several other electricians in over the past year or so and Pete is the only electrician to show me his license, insurance and reviews.I have more work to be done and Pete (Twin Cities Electric) is the only company I will call. “I would highly recommend Electric City. The project manager, Brice, was patient, knowledgeable and responsive. He came out right away to review my kiln relocation wiring project and provided me with a clear proposal. He was a great from beginning to end - and beyond. I appreciated that the proposal was not a quote, but a transparent, set price with a warranty. Brice knew I needed the work done right away and was able fit me in immediately (there was a cancelation that we jumped on). Their electrician, Jason, was fantastic. Despite bad weather conditions and truck problems (both out of anyone’s control), Jason was able to accomplish the job on our scheduled day (Brice kept me up to date the entire time). Jason takes a lot of pride in his work and knows his stuff. I was very impressed with his professionalism, skills and attention to detail.
