Wonderful teachers who create a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone from beginning practitioners to fellow teachers! Also, wonderful YTT program that was transformational and opened up my own practice in ways that only Sutra Seekers Teacher Trainings can.
If you are flirting with the idea of trying yoga for the first time, or a seasoned practitioner, Runa is one of the most inviting studios I have attended. Each class has modifications for all levels. You are encouraged to practice within your limits while simultaneously being challenged to explore areas outside of your familiarity. Any amount of stress or weakness I feel going into a class is dissipated by the end. I always find my serenity and strength there. The instructors appreciate not only the students but also the community. Regardless if you are looking for a slow restorative practice or a fire building intense flow you will find it there.
I have lived in Duluth for 7 years now and have been to every studio here and Runa yoga is definitely one of my favorites. The owners and teachers are so respectful and the place is absolutely beautiful. They offer a huge variety of classes and before this whole COVID thing happened, they offered "yoga in the yurt" at Hartley Nature Center which was absolutely unreal. I love Runa yoga and always recommend it to my friends :)
