I’m from Minneapolis and have always been loyal to my barber. When my family moved to the southern metro area, I spent the first 3 years driving to North Minneapolis every Friday because I have always been very particular about my cuts. Royal always does such a fantastic job on my son’s hair! I tried to do a quick cut for my son at home by myself and well, it did not go well. ?? I wasn’t sure if it could be fixed because it was pretty bad. When I brought him in to Royal, he just smiled and nodded quietly after I told him what happened (no judgement, lol) and then only a few minutes later he had my son looking fantastic, like I’d never even touched it. My mom was there too and also super pleased. She told me (in a nice way) let’s stay w/ the professionals for his hair, ??and I agree, it looked just that, professional, well done, very sharp. We again came to have a haircut with Mr Royal. He patiently did his magic and encouraged my son. My boy is autistic and has a terrible time with haircuts. He talked to him, let him make choices, was super patient and considerate to my son. He is quite happy and is the place where he gets the best haircuts. We have finally found a place to take our son as our other barber, also a black gentleman, moved away. We have found a great place and are just delighted with the service. If you have a disable son do let them know. Visit the shop and let him watch what goes on. Bring your child rested, promise and deliver a treat upon completion.
