“I've been struggling with right neck and shoulder pain after a t-bone car accident. Had the full work up with MRI imaging showing neuroforaminal stenosis. For a hot second, I was worried that this was going to be the beginning of chronic unrelenting pain as I've seen so many times in my own patients in the emergency department. I've seen how a small injury can propagate into progressive chronic pain that becomes debilitating over time.
