About Life Time
Life Time Bloomington North is temporarily closed for remodeling to transform it into a world-class pickleball destination, set to open in early 2022. The gym aims to support members in their health and fitness goals. However, some customers have expressed dissatisfaction with recent changes to the facility's hours and policies, particularly for those with disabilities or certain insurance plans. Despite these concerns, other members have enjoyed the gym's amenities, including the running track and bar area. A recent customer event featuring pickleball and happy hour was well-received, with positive feedback for the staff's coordination and instruction. The gym is working to spread the word about its upcoming happy hour offerings, which will be open to both members and non-members. Overall, Life Time Bloomington North is undergoing changes, both in terms of its physical space and its policies, which have elicited mixed reactions from its customer base. The gym remains committed to providing a high-quality fitness experience for its members.
I loved loved loved going to lifetime fitness to workout and work on my basketball game and other things, but now with the different hours and days we can use the gym due to the different hours for Medicare or certain level of our insurance is ridiculous. People with disabilities should be able to use this gym and other lifetime gyms regardless of insurance. I’m completely outraged and will most indefinitely be leaving this gym. This rating is for the facility rather than anything else. Please reach out if you want to keep ur loyal customer. I’m not paying the extra 100 bucks per month when I wasn’t paying anything before to use the gym for free. Overall I’m unsatisfied...read full review
OMG, what a fun night!!! We walk 8,000 steps on the running track, which was great! And then enjoyed a few hours with Evan at the bar! Exercise, good food, drink and conversation! What more could you ask for on a Friday night?!They are starting a happy hour on 1/6/24 (hours TBD), and you don’t need to be a member to sit at the bar/lounge and enjoy the beautiful interior, delicious drinks and food (limited to only flatbread options at the moment, but their chicken pieces are large on the chicken/pesto option!).It’s a great time and they are trying to spread the word. So come one and all!!
I’d avoid this location if you actually lift weights as they lack most of the equipment. It feels like an apartment gym. There’s no water fountain on the main level where you lift, but there is some on the second level and the locker level. If you’re into pickle ball, then there are 5 courts available, plus 2 practice courts.I’m glad we went to see it, but I will never return as the weight room is missing, save some random machines.
