A holistic approach to health and wellness! The practitioners are phenomenal, current and incredibly knowledgeable. I have been to Sunu for chiro, massage and acupuncture …. Prenatal and post-partum and have had incredible results in all domaines!

The professionalism is lacking at this clinic, for having been in business for years I certainly did not get that vibe. The first appointment I expected to be evaluated and have a doctor go over the evaluation and make a plan for treatment. Instead I was at the clinic for two hours and basically filled out paperwork, then was told to watch a generic sales video about chiropractic care before finally we moved onto the evaluation. I was rather surprised when I was told the doctor doesn't share their findings with you on the first visit. For the evaluation you'll be forced to pay a $20 "donation" to a charity rather than bill a medical insurance company for the medical evaluation. The next surprise for me was despite having done research that suggests they took the state medical assistance and also being told they do I was told I was out of network and I would need to put a card on file for the appointment and given a fee sheet that explained the different cost, but the doctor was unable to tell me an exact cost for the treatment until after she worked on me, but that it would be no more than $200, however they would run the claim through the insurance at my persistance and let me know if it goes through. The extremely shocking portion for me was I agreed to the first appointment not really knowing how much it would cost me in the end, and was told to schedule 3 months worth of other appointments again without knowing the cost. Had I shown up for my third appointment I would have been out another up to $200. Thankfully I saw enough red flags to ask them to tell me if insurance was covering it or not before attending. Beware these types of clinics they clearly do not have anyone on staff experienced in knowing how to handle insurance claims and anyplace that pushes you to just blindly seek services without being told the exact cost I would steer clear from. As far as the actual adjustment from the doctor I will say she is very gentle and uses a variety of techniques to adjust the spine that had it not been for the issue with the financial fiasco I would have continued to get care from this clinic. It was the kindest adjustment I've ever had in my life and I was disappointed to have to cancel my appointments but I personally cannot commit to appointments when I can't be told how much each one will cost ahead of time.

Thank YOU Dr. Una for being open to squeeze me in for an appointment to get the pain off my nerves. Your knowledge of Kinesiology is amazing. Love that you are open after 5pm. Also, you have great supplement and products to purchase for getting the body back on track. Lots of modality you have to get us back to feeling better.... Therapy, Holistic, Acupuncture and more. You know the body. :-)
