Coach Richmond's Driving School has been serving the Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor communities for over 25 years, providing state-certified driving instruction to thousands of students. The school's instructors are known for their patience, encouragement, and ability to help students overcome their fears and become confident drivers. With convenient locations and organized classes, Coach Richmond's Driving School helps students not only pass their driving tests, but also develop the skills and confidence to become safe and defensive drivers.
We used Coach Richmond to get our daughter over driving anxiety post Segment 1. (Her Segment 1 were not through Coach Richmond.)
He did a great job with two private lessons and she was ready to move forward. She is now about 10 hours away from hitting that magical 50 hours requirement (yay) and without Coach Richmond we'd probably still be stuck at 2 hours.
Ok so this review is long overdue. I found Coach Richmond online when I decided to be serious about getting my license. I had a very big fear of driving for years. Over the course of a few months he was very helpful with teaching me the skills to becoming a great driver. He was nice, never got angry when I made mistakes, and was very encouraging especially when I voiced my fears of taking the highway. I took my drivers and passed! Now I have 0 fears when driving thanks to him. Everyone tells me I’m a good driver. I owe him a lot!
Both my sons have taken lessons from Coach Richmond. My older son who is now in college is a better and more confident driver than me. My younger son is finishing Segment 1 this week and has loved learning from Coach Richmond!!Very convenient location, very organized classes, excellent teaching and encouragement given, lots of tips/additional information given towards making the kids better and confident drivers.If you learn from Coach Richmond, you not only pass your driving test…you become “THE driver” people want to see on the road !!
