C & H Community For Funerals

I had a dispute about a paying for a tribute item that did not arrive to my loved ones service. Not only did the staff show zero initiative to find a solution, I went through almost two weeks of trying to get in touch with a woman (Lutha I think). I would be told call back and such and such time, instead of her calling me. When I did make contact with her, she was abrasive, dismissive, and was smart mouthing me as though I was the problem. She told me she would get in touch with one of the directors and then get back with me. That was over a month ago. I learned my lesson about who not to deal with in the future for only $75. Others might not be so lucky.

Unfortunately, against the wishes of others, C&H handled my father’s funeral last week. C&H told us that he’s not entitled to a military send off because he was not in active duty. They asked my nephews to carry their grandfather’s casket into the church. How disrespectful and unprofessional!They tried the same thing with my mother 3 yrs ago, until I complained. My nephews’ stated the casket wasn’t totally closed when they carried it out of the church. SMH!! This was my first funeral to plan from beginning to end and James was amazing and patient. Answered every question, text, called, very up front and courteous. Our plans had to change from an offsite to onsite service 6 days before the funeral and they accommodated smoothly! My daughter looked beautiful, the chapel was perfect and I would recommend them for any future service.
