I was in a bad car accident and got post concussion syndrome. After 11 months and literally hundreds of therapy appointments I had made minimal progress. My speech therapist pleaded with me to please get new glasses, so I made an appointment with Dr. Lynette Burgess and cannot believe how much my life has changed. I was in an accident in May of 21 and had a very bad concussion and I had vertigo and migraines daily. It is now Dec of 22. Multiple doctors, PT, OT, neurology visits later and my OT finally referred me to Dr. Burgess. The testing she did was so helpful in getting a straight diagnosis. My eyes weren’t tracking together and that was creating the migraines and vertigo. I had become a shell of myself because I constantly felt miserable. A year and a half ago, I got a concussion from a car accident. During this time I have seen more doctors that I ever seen in my entire life. A few doctors told me that seeing doctor Burgess was a waste of my time. I'm glad I didn't listen to those doctors. Since I started seeing Dr Burgess I have been sleeping more than 2 hours a night, my headaches are less strong, my dizziness is becoming less frequent throughout the day, and I'm starting to see improvements in my eyesight. I finally feel that things are starting to improve for me. I'm starting to see the light and the end of my tunnel. Very grateful for Dr. Burgess and her kind staff!
