“This place is AMAZING!! My kiddo is non-verbal autistic, I was extremely nervous to take her to a dentist at all- let alone for the first time. I didn’t know how she’d cooperate, if they’d be able to get anything done because of sensory issues and intolerance, I was afraid of long wait times because she has a hard time sitting in one spot for a long period of time. We got right in, the office noise didn’t bother my girl at all, they were so patient and kind and did so many things to redirect her in order to take a look at her teeth and clean them. The hygienist’s daughter is also autistic and I felt so seen speaking with her and knowing that someone who knows exactly what our life is like and loves someone at home like my daughter reassured me immensely that my girl would be well taken care of and be treated with kindness and understanding. We had such an amazing experience here, we picked our daughter up from ABA therapy and told another mom who had just had a horrible experience with her autistic son at another dentist about kids first and then also gave the information to the BCBA’s and management staff at the ABA center we go to, and told them about how wonderful our experience was here so that other autism moms could bring their babies here without the anxiety I had and know that they won’t be creating a traumatizing experience for their kiddo that sees the world differently. ❤️ I’m so so glad we chose kids first pediatric dentistry!“

“I have very bad anxiety when it comes to the dentist, due to a great deal of issues with my teeth. I have in the past been treated poorly, and told my anxiety is unnecessary and my pain was not real. My teeth are super crowded and my gums hurt a lot all the time, basic oral hygiene is painful no matter what I do, going to the dentist was not an option as every time I went my problems got worse instead of better. Sunday night I woke up in the middle of the night with a horrible toothache and I knew I was going to have to find a dentist. I called around and was referred here by a coworker of my husband. From the first phone call to 24 hours later (now today) the ladies at this office have gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome, the empathy, compassion and care they give is amazing and refreshing in a world that is unforgiving. Go here, they will understand your anxiety, fears, pain, and anything else you deal with. They are gentle, honest, transparent about the care, prices and encourage you to consider all your options. I felt no pressure at all, and finally feel like I can get the dental care that I need.“
