Dr. Henshaw spent a lot of time with us at our surgical consultation explaining our dog’s injury and the proposed surgery. He explained everything very well and made sure all of our questions were answered.

Dr. Henshaw was terrific. He confirmed our dog’s need for surgery and fully explained the procedure, process, prognosis and recovery directions. He spent a great deal of time with us and answered all of our questions. The office staff also was inviting and very efficient. Our dog was able to get scheduled for surgery with Oakwood’s visiting, board-certified orthopedic surgeon within just a few-week waiting period. We were very happy with the care we and our dog received and feel comfortable moving forward with our dog’s surgical procedure.

Absolutely the most professional care for my dog! I would never taker her anywhere but here. Honestly, the professional care and the medical care could not be more perfect. My Gigi 13 years old had her teeth cleaning... absolutely perfect service... thank you to all of the staff at Oakwood......

Our chocolate lab was experiencing UTI symptoms. They could not get her in until the next day. They gave me the option to bring a urine sample in and my dog received medication that day! Then after completing her antibiotic, the symptoms came back likely because it was not strong enough. Again, they could not see my dog for a couple days. No available appointments. They did offer me the option to drop her off and they would see her between appointments if time allowed. And once again, we were able to get medication for her that day. They really try their best to meet your needs. We are so happy we switch to Oakwood!

The vets at Oakwood are always very thorough and explain everything to us to make sure we understand all the details for each of our dogs care, and that’s not occasionally but every time. We appreciate the attention to detail and consistent compassion they provide from the entire staff.
