Just finished Pup Scouts and learned so much to help my puppy be the best dog he can be! The trainers are very patient and really care about their clients.
We love Barks and Rec! Dozer started at 10 weeks old in the Pup Scouts course, and we have just started the second class. He’s a high energy pitbull, with bad anxiety revolving around other dogs as well as separation anxiety from us. The training classes have given him structure and routine. We still have our share of anxiety-induced problems, but he has gotten SO much better since we brought him home. Once he is hooked on his leash, he knows it’s time to work! The ladies here are patient, kind, and understanding when it comes to the anxious pups. We really could not have asked for a better team to be helping us. There are many more classes in our future!
The best dog trainer in the northern Michigan area. Their scientifically-supported and humane approach makes a lot of sense, and they were great at providing a comfortable environment for my dog and puppy. I did the agility class just to socialize my puppy, and I was actually really impressed that my puppy was able to focus on and listen to me off-leash with tons of smells, other dogs, and people after only a few weeks of classes.
