I previously utilized their services due to the availability of same-day appointments when necessary. However, their current policy designates same-day care as an emergency, resulting in increased charges. Furthermore, the additional cost for medications readily available at pharmacies is also a significant concern.
This animal hospital was amazing! We were camping at Green Lake campground which is 2 hours away from our normal vet office when we notice a urinary issue with our 9 year old pitbull. I called Northwood and told them my concerns and right then the lady on the phone said bring him in right now and the doctor will see him. I had our normal vet email me his records, brought him in and we were seen immediately. The whole visit took about 40 minutes and we were on our way with medication. I am so thankful they got us in so quickly and without hesitations. I 100% recommend this animal hospital to anyone.
I’ve been going here for years for all my pets, but a recent visit really has me feeling grateful for them. My cat swallowed a needle that somehow miraculously made it all the way to her colon (without causing any internal damage!), and Dr. Klabunde got her into surgery to remove it right away. The needle was successfully removed and her and her staff are basically miracle workers. My cat is 1 week post op and doing wonderful 🙏 who knows where we’d be if they weren’t able to get the needle out as quickly as they did!
