We had the same experience shared by a few here. My husband was hopeful after talking to Jimmy on the phone, because he seemed affable and eager to come out. Jimmy ended up cancelling an hour before the appointment, but offered a new day, which we scheduled. On the scheduled day, my husband and I left work early and waited for Jimmy at the house. When he was a half hour late, my husband called and got Jimmy's voicemail. He left a message, and Jimmy never returned the call or offered an explanation. Since this seems to be a theme, Tessera should just say they're too busy, rather than disrespect customer's time.

I contacted Jimmy and he indicated he could do my project, so we set a time to meet. He came out to discuss the project and told me he would take good care of me and it would be great. When he left he said he would be in touch soon. I didn't hear from him for two weeks so I inquired and after a week he finally emailed back. He said he had spoken with his carpenter and would be over soon to figure out the details. Another couple of weeks went by and I emailed him twice and heard nothing. I left a voice mail and he completely ghosted me. You get one star for scheduling an appointment with me and no-showing. I get it - contractors are busy right now - but that isn’t and won’t always be the case. The courtesy of a phone call to cancel would have been appropriate.
