“I had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a salon. I went in for a perm yesterday and was told that Erica was amazing at them. Well after she put the rods in my hair, she informed me that she didn’t have the perm solution with the acid in it (the one she usually uses) but that she has a different one she found on the shelf that is made for older women’s hair and that I shouldn’t worry because it will still work. I said okay as long as it will work. Then she proceeded to accidentally put on the NEUTRALIZING solution first before the perming solution. Which she then told me stops the perm… she rinsed it out 20 mins later with the rods still in my hair so I don’t think that you can even rinse it out fully with the rods still in. I asked her many times throughout this horrible process if the perm will still work and she insisted that it will still work I let her keep going. Then she applied the perm solution. After 20 mins she rinsed it out and half dried my hair for it to look EXACTLY the same as when I came in. After doing more research on perms and how if you put the neutralizing solution on first it will definitely STOP the perm from working I knew I had to write this review because I feel lied to. She then said sorry and still charged me the FULL $165 amount. It also took an extra hour and a half because of her mistakes. I am so beyond disappointed and frustrated that I can’t even sleep.

Two months later: Hello! I’m unable to reply to this review, I am not sure why! But yes, the owner is correct below. She called me the next morning and made everything right with the free product and treatment and yesterday I got a free perm! It looks great and I am so impressed with the service and the owner calling me personally to make things right! Thank you so much!“

After an initial consultation, they helped me find hair products to prepare my hair for upcoming color sessions and better health.At my visit, they did a great job making me feel welcome and heard. The aftermath of my appointment was a great haircut and beautiful color.After a few days with my new color, I realized it was a bit too blonde for what I was hoping to go for. Lauren was able to get me back into the salon quickly and add more color that matched what I was hoping for that left my hair feeling and looking beautiful.They want the best for their client just as much as we want to walk away with a great color/cut.Highly recommend for their skills, their hospitality, and their open line of communication. “I got my first pixie cut (not from Alexis) and really liked it. The person who cut my hair moved out of state and I tried two other hair dressers with no luck. I decided I wanted to grow my hair back and went to Alexis as my third try. She understood what I was asking for and gave me the CUTEST cut, getting rid of my “puppy ears and mullet” as I lovingly referred to my current hair, and explaining how we’d work it as it grew out.
