“When I retired, I decided that since I had all of this unclaimed time I could start figuring out my own federal and state taxes. I did the forms for three years. But, I had forgotten, after having had DFI do our taxes every year for decades, that convoluted tax instructions involving mathematics and I have never been on good speaking terms.
