I love how well Elizabeth integrates a bit of kundalini kriya with vinyasa flow with abs and various pranayama techniques and lymphatic massage all smoothed out by her playing singing bowls/ mini sound bath towards the end. Sivasana is never rushed — this happens in 75 minutes! Her unique playlists often stay with me hours later - today the message “I am my own medicine… I am my own best friend “ sunk into my subconscious and rings true! All of my senses are engaged. Elizabeth’s barn yoga is truly special! It is a whole body, mind, and spiritual reset every time I go. She builds community and creates an environment of peace, restoration, and opportunity for rejuvenation. Elizabeth offers sound bath and breath sessions too that are a wonderful healing experience. Consider her retreats too (both local in Sawyer and the destination ones she puts on)! I truly love Skybird yoga and my life is better for it!!!

An incredible place to practice yoga (and more - sound baths, retreats, workshops). Elizabeth is an incredible, skilled, caring teacher and her classes are way beyond what one might expect to find in rural Michigan. She is a gift to everyone who meets her and to our little community (where she has a very active fanbase and following!) I've practiced yoga in many, many places and there is nothing that quite compares to Elizabeth's holistic approach.
