“My family was in need of home health care following our 89 year old’s father’s hospital stay. The hospital automatically arranged for a large agency to work with us. We had no idea that we even had a say in which agency we worked with. Unfortunately, it was a disaster!! I won’t bother with the details, but suffice it to say, we discontinued our involvement with them. I was determined to find a small agency. One that communicated with us and with each other. One that listened to our concerns. One that truly developed an individual, patient focused treatment plan. One with a highly trained, competent staff. We found all of these dynamics at Kaizen, in Saline. We have since called on them intermittently, as needed. They have become a crucial part of our fathers’ care team. “This is where Dr. Steven Hinderer practices. He is an extremely knowledgeable PM&R doctor with over 25 years experience! Along with Dr Hinderer is physician assistant Douglas McCollum. Both, along with the office staff are friendly , outgoing and more than helpful. Dr. Hinderer has taught students at Wayne State University. Although he has no current affiliations, he does know many doctors on staff within the Corewell and U of M health. Worlds. When he recommends something to be done, it is out of his years of expertise and knowledge that his recommendations are made.“
