“I have been to over 20 physical therapists at different companies in my life. Some have been great, some not so great and some awful. Peak, with Amy and Alyson, are excellent in what they do. Both go over and above any other PT specialists I've ever seen. They both are very knowledgeable and helpful. This is not a chain (which has a tendency to overbook and not take the time needed) and the one on one care is outstanding. This is a fully equipped facility that is also warm and inviting and the women who work and run the facility are exceptionally kind and caring. They also take Medicare which is good as so many of us really need help with our bodies as we age. This is the place I will go to from now on for my PT needs. “Our daughter has been working with Speech Therapist Stephanie for two years now. Stephanie has been amazing and I can't recommend her highly enough! Our daughter's progress has been far better than we thought possible. Stephanie has worked closely with us, so we could work together as a parent - therapist team. Without Stephanie's work (with our daughter) and guidance (for us) we would not have made it this far. She was just recently evaluated and she is AVERAGE in all areas! This is amazing for a child who only had one vowel sound at 2+ years old and has been consistently below where she should be.One year ago - this was my review (which I inadvertently did not post!).....Our daughter has been going to Ivy Rehab for Kids in Brighton for nearly 1 year. She has child apraxia of speech, as well as being very shy and anxious. Our daughter is now excited to go to Stephanie and looks forward to playing with her. She is communicating her needs - WITH WORDS! Stephanie has done an amazing job building rapport and working with her to build the speech and confidence needed. Stephanie has also taken a great deal of time to work with us (parents), so we had the skills and knowledge to work with our daughter at home as well. She pushes our daughter, but always within the bounds of what is feasible. “I wasn't sure what to expect with physical therapy as I have never gone. I wanted to wait until my sessions were paused or concluded before providing a review. I am very very happy with the level of care I've received from my therapist, and while she was away I had the pleasure of working with two other individuals as well. All of them listened and treated me great. When I needed to be pushed harder I was, when I expressed concerns regarding my physical state per appointment, it was met with understanding and sometimes a switch to exercises and other times to adjust. I was an odd case and I knew that I was going to be going in. During my course of treatment my therapist made the correct calls at the correct times to give me the best therapy possible and did this by questioning me further per visit on how painful and what types of pain it was presenting. I know that can't be an easy as we all describe our problems or issues differently. I know that my therapy also went well because of my disposition as a patient and I believe that to be very important when receiving therapy. Also, I was 100% honest like I usually try to be. For an example, telling my therapist that I had a tendency to push myself harder than I should at times. Beyond that, all of the others affiliated with this location and company were friendly and helpful. The location was clean, the equipment is nice and all that I used functioned great. When I had unexpected issues arise, my appointments were rescheduled quickly and they were very nice about it. I will be recommending and would recommend this office to anyone seeking physical therapy.“
