Dr Smirnes and Alicia accommodated my same-day in-home euthanasia request with promptness and kindness. They saved us days of potential agony waiting for another vet, or the horrible task of taking our beloved cat to an emergency vet. Dr Smirnes and Alicia, her LVT, are amazing professionals and individuals. They’re so kind and gentle and very trustworthy and knowledgeable. Working in my home with WVHC has helped my dog gain confidence around vet procedures and learn skills to help him succeed when he has to go to his brick and mortar vet too. Our dog is a rescue who had an unfavorable experience at the vet when we adopted him, so the past four years have been nothing short of a nightmare when it comes to wellness and vet visits. We called Dr. Smirnes at Woodward Vet Home Care and she was able to get us in the same week we called. She came to our home around 8:00 p.m., at a time that was extremely convenient for our family.
