I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at Emcura Urgent Care in Royal Oak was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share it.
I visited the clinic on Friday for an issue with my right middle finger, expecting the typical urgent care experience. Instead, I received some of the most professional and attentive medical care I’ve had in a long time.
From the moment I walked in, Noelle provided outstanding care. She handled my medical history, vitals, X-rays, and injections with skill and professionalism. What impressed me most was how calm and confident she was throughout the process — even the injections were completely painless.
Abby was also fantastic. She went the extra mile to provide focused, patient-centered care and made sure every concern was addressed. That level of attention and compassion is becoming rare in today’s healthcare environment, and it truly stood out.
What really sets Emcura Royal Oak apart is their follow-up care.
• On Sunday I received a call from Shelby simply checking to see how I was doing. • Then I received another follow-up call today.
That kind of patient care is something you almost never see from urgent care clinics.
Most places treat you and move on.

As a truck driver, my schedule makes it difficult to keep doctor’s appointments. When I arrived, I told them I had a ridiculous question: could they possibly get me in and out during my 30-minute lunch break? Not only did they make it happen, but they were incredibly caring and kind. Shakia was amazing. I highly recommend this location!
