She has a talent for creating beautiful shag cuts, low-maintenance haircuts, and providing advice on hair care. The products used at the salon are also highly regarded. As a first time client, Joan really took the time to talk about what I was looking for. She was warm, patient and detail-oriented.
When my original idea for the cut I wanted didn't feel how I had hoped, Joan took time to explore other routes and craft something completely different. Her creativity and expertise brought ideas to life, cultivating a fresh, low-maintenance and affirming look that feels incredible! I was really needing a change and Joan made it a fun, joyful and collaborative experience. I will definitely be going back regularly. I highly recommend Joan at the Beauty Box!

Such an amazing experience with Joan @ The Beauty Box! Her space is AMAZING and you can tell she really has a passion for what she does. I got a beautiful shag cut from her, and have been loving it ever since. Also gave me some solid advice on caring for my hair too. I will definitely be coming back, and hopefully try some of her other services too.
