I signed up with Anytime Fitness in Petoskey and had an amazing experience there, so I expected the same level of quality from the Haslett location. Unfortunately, this gym has been a disappointment. The equipment is old, worn out, and it seems like they rarely invest in updating or replacing anything. While most of the machines technically work, many feel dated and don’t compare to what I’ve seen at other Anytime Fitness locations. August 2025
I had enjoyed the club previously. Had even signed up for personal training sessions. When my personal training contract ended in June, I thought that was that as I wasn't billed for anything in July. August 5th rolls around, and I wake up to an invoice and a text saying I owe them money for personal training and saying I can either pay out the rest of the contract or $200. If this was the case, why wasn't this communicated in July?
I feel very hurt, and betrayed by people I enjoyed being around, but now I'm considering cancelling my membership all together and finding a new gym
