I only needed a prescription refill, so the first time I called today, I was the only one in the queue, but no one ever picked up even though I was on hold for almost an hour, so out of frustration I hung up. Decided to call back after 1pm, and again there was 1 person in the queue, but after another 30 minutes on hold again, I hung up. This no way to run a medical office.
Corina was kind on the phone and answered my questions when I scheduled, she was the one who acknowledged someone walking in the office and got them taken care of too. I didn't notice the other two receptionists with name signs by their stations making as much of an effort or when leaving, their heads were in their computers without eye contact, but maybe they had other things going on. I called around trying to get into an GYN and they were weeks out. This office gets you in next day as listed on the website. I decided to create this review, since Lupy(Director of the Madison Heights location) saw a message to call me back 72 hrs ago. I was told she saw the message, but chose to not call until she wants to. I’ve been a patient of Oakland Family Practice for some years now. I really liked the service up until the last year or so. I feel treated like cattle or a number once service is rendered that day. I attended an office visit one day and attempted to follow up another day with questions or concerns in turn no phone calls returned, question unanswered in a timely manner or no follow up calls after the front desk clerks say they would and haven’t.This office has went down...read full review
