Recently had Devin install a complete furnace and AC to replace our old failing system. We could not be happier! The owner came out within a half hour to fix my 89 year old uncle toilet. He installed a new toilet and was on his way all with an hour. Very polite and very compassionate to my uncle and did a wonderful job. Bi can't thank him enough for the quick and wonderful job that he did

It was super easy to book an appointment online. Jimmy is such a friendly and welcoming person. I have anxiety and was worried about going somewhere new, but he made me really comfortable. We chatted the whole time, and it wasn't that fake forced conversation I'm used to when I get my hair cut. He is also crazy good at what he does. I brought him reference photos, and he gave me a perfect short, but still feminine, style. Highly recommend!!

Lisa is simply AMAZING! Her and her team are very timely, organized and gets the job done! What I thought may take at least 4-5 hours, they got done in 2.5 hours and nothing was rushed or missed. I’ve never used a dry cleaner before and finding this place was an adventure for me so I thought I’d share this here for anyone needing a recommendation for a dry cleaner. Now this was my first time and my experience was great. I wish I would’ve taken a before photo of this because this was ROUGH before now.
I bought this chair set off of Facebook Marketplace for stupid cheap and it really just needed a good clean. So I took it to the ladies over at Annex Cleaners on Dix in Lincoln Park and they did an AMAZING job!! There was wax from a candle or something melted onto the fabric and it’s completely gone.
It smells amazing and I was worried about the fluffiness getting ruined but it’s still fluffy and absolutely perfect for me. AND it was SUPER AFFORDABLE!!

The owner, Tyler, listened about my design and we tweaked it and made the appearance even better! His employee, Bob, was very meticulous and I cannot tell you how much that was appreciated. When we had a slight problem with the shower pan, Tyler did not hesitate to do what was needed and correct the problem. I love, love, love this company and would highly suggest you use them for your projects—inside and outside!!
We can always rely on Alert Heating & Cooling whether we need a new furnace or air conditioning or repairs. Doug has installed all of our new equipment and is always there when we need repair. Highly recommend! He always gets the job done right!

I was very happy with Winslow’s. The heatwave that started on June 22nd my air conditioning just completely stopped working during late afternoon. Our house got very hot very quickly. With our air conditioner being over 24 years old I thought for sure it was done with. First thing Monday morning I was on the phone calling around looking for a place that could come over to check it out. I called and called 5 different places and they were all booked up with the earliest available appointment was at least a week or longer. At this point I started googling places where I come across Winslow’s. I talked to the owner James and he said he could get a technician out there today but not sure what time. It was getting towards evening so I called back James the owner back and he said they were still coming. They were so booked up but he assured me someone would be there. About 6:45pm the technicians showed up and had my air conditioner fixed. It was just a part inside the unit that needed replacing. I requested if the would charge my air conditioner and they did. The technicians were very knowledgeable and AWESOME. I was worried my compressor was fried and it was just a minor part. The next day James the owner called me to see if my unit was working well. I’m so HAPPY I found them and will definitely call them again. Thank you Winslow Heating and Cooling I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU ALL!!!!

This place is AMAZING!! My kiddo is non-verbal autistic, I was extremely nervous to take her to a dentist at all- let alone for the first time. I didn’t know how she’d cooperate, if they’d be able to get anything done because of sensory issues and intolerance, I was afraid of long wait times because she has a hard time sitting in one spot for a long period of time. We got right in, the office noise didn’t bother my girl at all, they were so patient and kind and did so many things to redirect her in order to take a look at her teeth and clean them. The hygienist’s daughter is also autistic and I felt so seen speaking with her and knowing that someone who knows exactly what our life is like and loves someone at home like my daughter reassured me immensely that my girl would be well taken care of and be treated with kindness and understanding. We had such an amazing experience here, we picked our daughter up from ABA therapy and told another mom who had just had a horrible experience with her autistic son at another dentist about kids first and then also gave the information to the BCBA’s and management staff at the ABA center we go to, and told them about how wonderful our experience was here so that other autism moms could bring their babies here without the anxiety I had and know that they won’t be creating a traumatizing experience for their kiddo that sees the world differently. ❤️ I’m so so glad we chose kids first pediatric dentistry!
