“Took almost 3 years old grandson who is scared of clippers noise and doesn't really like his hair touched. He had a death grip on my arm and wanted no part of getting in the barber chair. I talked. I pleaded. I called his mom and all he did the whole time she was talking was said I want to go.
Then Jordan came over (appt originally not booked with him), talked to grandbaby about seeing his cars and he got up (tentatively) and walked hand in hand with Jordan. Then they went to the toy bin where he would be able to pick out a toy after haircut. They looked through and took out every single toy in there. Then they put them all back. He spent SO MUCH TIME with him there.
Then he walked him over and put him in the chair. Grandson not thrilled and wouldn't hold still but Jordan talked to him the entire time. Shared his Hershey's bar with him during cut at critical times when he wouldn't stop moving his head every which way.
I am SO IMPRESSED and grateful. I cannot believe the beautiful cut he gave him. We took him to a barber about a year ago and he was not near as squirmy but cried the whole time and haircut was awful.
I was so appreciative I paid double the cost of the cut, and I don't have tons of money. But it was one small way to show my thanks for his kindness, gentleness, and superior haircutting abilities. Thank you Jordan.
P.S. His Mama's reaction when she saw it was definitely worth the big tip. She LOVES IT!! 🥰”
