Andre's Tailoring & Alteration is a family-run business with friendly and sweet people. Customers describe Andre and Sharon as awesome, friendly, and a lovely couple. The business offers great customer service and amazing alterations, with no complaints about the work. They are known for fixing zippers on jackets, pants, and jeans, often doing so ASAP and making items better than new. Mr. Andre is a serious garment tailor who handles high-end labels like Ralph Lauren Purple Label, Giorgio Armani, and Hugo Boss. The shop provides great pricing and can complete last-minute wedding orders within a week. Highly recommended and considered the best tailor in Lansing.
I came in and was a little nervous to leave my dress there due to the smell of the shop, I couldn’t tell if it smelt like smoke or incenses, either or the smell was not flattering. I left my dress for it to get alters/put a slip in the front chest area and gave the gal my card to pay the day of my first visit. I came back to pick up my dress and the stitch was completely out which made me nervous to leave it for it to be “fixed”. When I came back the second time to pick up my dress I simply just wanted to pick it up because if it wasn’t done right I was planning to take it somewhere else anyways. There are buttons on my dress for an insert I needed, buttons? I’m just so confused. Then I was told I didn’t pay even though I gave the gal my card the first visit. When she called to tell me I hadn’t paid I simply asked “why did I give you my card on our first visit then?” she had no response to that and said “forget about it then” and hung up. 🤷🏽♀️ I’m sad because I read a lot of good reviews and just didn’t get that service.
Great place to have your military uniforms altered! They know the regulations.
I am a short woman and a good tailor is my very best friend in this world! I was so lucky to have found Andre's shop! He is professional, personable, and efficient! His rates are sooo reasonable and his work is impeccable! I highly recommend going here!!
