MTM Piano Lessons

I am 65 and recently retired and wanted to take guitar lessons. I was a little nervous I might not be able to do this now but Josiah at Music Matters has proven my fears were unwarranted. He makes things challenging but not overwhelming and you are playing a song within the first week or two and that keeps you encouraged as you start this new journey. Josiah also plays in his churches worship group, so if that’s a passion of yours, you might want to check him and his teachers out for that as well! I know he is starting group lessons soon, so I might consider that as well. So if you’re in West Michigan check Music Matters out!

Would highly recommend Josiah for piano lessons. I have both of my children enrolled, and he strikes a strong balance between patience and pushing them to improve. He keeps them engaged while still encouraging them to challenge themselves with new songs. Since starting with him, both kids have made noticeable progress in their skills and confidence.

Our daughter loves her piano lesson with Josiah. He creates a safe environment for her to be able to learn. He encourages her when she needs it and at the same time challenges her to do things he knows she can. This makes her feel seen and determined to do the next hard thing.

I highly recommend Music Matter for all ages!
