I went to this salon today for a haircut and style. Kezney was very professional. She exceeded my expectations. She took her time and did an amazing job. When I get my hair done, I enjoy a stylist that doesn’t talk excessively because it’s relaxing for me. Highly recommend Kezney.

They did the worst job on my daughter's hair. She wanted an ombre, but it looked like she had dyed her hair 3 months ago and it had just grown out. There was no transition from dark to light The back crown of her hair had no color to it. She also asked for copper, but they did a grey blond. I called and we had to go back. The stylist didn't have time to fix it correctly - not sure why they made an appt if she couldn't do it? They also told us the manager/owner would be there as I didn't want the same person doing her hair who did a bad job the first time. When we got there they said the owner wasn't in that day. They only re-toned her hair. Very unhappy with this salon.

I am sharing my best friend (who is too shy to say anything) And my experience with The Doll House. How this establishment has been open for so long is beyond me. Last week my best friend went to the Doll house to get a trim and an undercut. It's hot out, so the undercut is to help with her extremely thick hair. If the stylist can't perform the most basic of cuts, she should have said so because now I ( I am not a professional, btw, I'm just not a complete idiot like whoever at this establishment tried to cut my friends hair) have to try and fix this line up with my husband's beard trimmer. It's so jagged and uneven, it looks like a 6 year old did it. It's so bad I would believe a drunk person did it over a professional, yet here we are. She was so upset, she refuses to go back, or to tell me who the con-artist is that botched her hair up so terribly. And I ALWAYS TOLD HER to steer clear of that place because in 2013 I had booked a hair appointment for my WEDDING weeks in advance only for them to call me the day of and tell me they over booked and my appointment was canceled! CANCELED!!! ON MY WEDDING DAY of all days! I wasn't offered ANYTHING to make it up to me, so I always swore these crooks off for good. And then my best friend made the same mistake. I normally don't leave bad reviews. But I am hoping that I can save another victim from being maimed at the hands of a hair stylist with NO business being a hair stylist. #CLOSEDOWNTHEDOLLHOUSE

It’s typically not my character to post a review unless it is complimentary. In this case; however, I feel as though I need to post what happened to me at Doll House which is not positive, in the interest of others possibly looking at Doll House for their new hair salon.
I saw Monica for cut/color over the course of 4 mos. First visit, left with strange auburn color in part area while rest of hair was medium brown. Took a few visits to try to clear the auburn and was finally using all over color each visit I think to try to get my color to a nice rich shade. Way too much color! By the time we parted ways, the part area was still a problem always fading fast into an auburn shade. And if I had stayed and she continued with frequent all over color on my hair vs root touch-up, my hair would have shown damage. The color issue was unsatisfactory and boggled me, but not catastrophic.
The catastrophe was after one of my last visits to salon, Monica made a big mistake with my cut without me realizing it until a few weeks out. When I put my head downward and she made the first cut (the underneath layer closest to nape of neck) she must have slipped and cut so short, it is still growing out today 6 mos later. I cannot believe she did not own up to the mistake. Being underneath (the 1st layer to cut), I didn’t realize it until I tried to put in a ponytail and the whole underneath fell out of ponytail; I have very fine hair to begin with and now there was a chunk of hair that needed to grow back. Lost all volume to my hair. So upsetting to me.
It has taken several visits at the new salon in order to completely remove auburn and get back to right shade in part area. We still have at least 2 mos left until the “mistake” fully grows out. I can finally get into pony but underneath hair is still catching up to rest of my shoulder length hair. My current stylist is doing her best to trim/dust my ends and texturize to give me more body in meantime, since the chunk of hair missing is still growling out 6 mos later!
Interesting enough, as I was waiting for my ride home from salon, another customer in lobby mentioned she was first going to Monica, but switched to another stylist at Doll House as color was not right.
All in all, I was disinvited from salon for calling in with questions/concerns. Looking back, the Doll House did me a favor. I’m now in the hands of an experienced stylist at a top notch salon. I believe my hair wil be back to normal in a few months, but it’s been a long uncomfortable journey.

I have known Halie for 10+ years and she has been doing my hair for around 5 yrs. Yesterday I went to get a cut and foils and I brought my son with me. He is 5 and autistic and is usually very well behaved. But sometimes public spaces can be a little overwhelming for him. The few times when he did not wish to follow us around the salon (to wash my hair for instance) the other stylists and Halie kept an eye on him while he sat in a small chair I brought for him right by the station we were at. All of the stylists were so kind, smiled, and interacted with my son and I. It felt SO NICE to feel included and welcomed. Love Dollhouse and especially love my girl Halie!

I got my hair cut here by Sam about a week ago, and I understand she is only a level 1 stylist, but it is probably one of the worst haircuts I have ever gotten. The back of my hair is completely uneven and choppy. The face framing is uneven and there is more on one side than the other. I also asked for layers, and it’s like she tried adding them but gave up because only half of my head has layers, and they aren’t even blended into the rest of the hair, making it look extremely choppy. I’ve only gotten my hair done twice at Dollhouse, both times were with different stylists, but both times I have been disappointed with the results.
