HEARD HORRBLE THINGS ALSO HEARD SOMEONE THERE TOUCHED A WOMANS DAUGHTER AND CALLED THEM LOWLIFES AFTER THE FACT THAT THEY GAVE THE DAUGHTER A BAD HAIRCUT!!!

My daughter came in the get her hair trimmed, long layers, and ended up looking like she had a Joe dirt mullet. We went it there to discuss the services and we were called by the owner we were "lowlifes" that just wanted out money back. They are terrible, please don't not go there. The owner actually put hands on my daughter making her uncomfortable and she left again in tears

I had a bad experience here. The older guy that supposedly owns the place was racist for one. And for two I kept telling him what I wanted done to my hair and his reply was “ I don’t think that will look good” first of all you I’m paying for my haircut not you so what I tell you to do you have to do. Lucky I gave him a tip. But if you aren’t from kalkaska or if you are do not go here. This has to be the worst haircut business I ever been to in my life.

Requested style: I asked for my haircut to be a certain way that’s how I like it. So you cut it how I want it. Not how you want it. If it looks dumb to you it looks good to me. That’s ya job to do what I tell you not what you want. Rated 0 stars if I could. The older guy can’t cut hair and can’t even cut it even. What’s the point in running a business if you can’t even do ya job right.

I can't thank Ivan and this establishment enough for the haircut I was given here yesterday. I've been living up north off and on for a few years now and been to a handful of other establishments and each time left with a bad haircut. I had put off getting a haircut 3 months longer than usual for this reason. Winner's Edge and Ivan were recommended to me by someone who's opinion I trust. Even though it is a 40 minute drive one way from my home I decided to give it a try. I called ahead and was able to get an appointment an hour later. Ivan listened to me when asked what I wanted and cut it EXACTLY how I asked down to the smallest detail. I also needed to purchase a new can of styling product. He was extremely knowledgeable about products and sold me a different brand than I typically buy he assured me it was far superior to my usual brand both styleability as well as hair health. He was absolutely correct cause it's the best product I've ever used to style my hair. He was also a very nice guy who I enjoyed chatting with while in his chair. I could not be happier. I no longer feel like I have to wait to get a haircut the next time I go down state! To be honest I'm actually a bit worried when I'm living downstate Im going to put off haircuts until the next time I'm back here up north. I may even make the 4hr drive just to get an Ivan cut at winners edge. I've had my hair cut and styled by Hollywood Hair & Makeup artists for several major Film and Television productions, but. Ivan cut my hair better than all of them. I couldn't be any happier cause there's no longer anything I can't get living up north like I can living down state,, other big cities, or even on a major movie set. If anyone is reading this review and are desperate to find a salon/barbershop look no further....even if you are an hour away it's worth it!

They pride themselves on only carrying the very best selection of shampoos conditioners and styling products all at more than fair prices. You can tell they pride themselves on providing customers with quality products with very minimal profit. Thank you so much Ivan I'm so happy with my haircut! See you in a few weeks
