    Patient relations are terrible. Everything is a money grab. They do not listen nor care although they try to pretend to.

    Worst patient relations ever and the hospital entities do not communicate with each other. I was referred by a Holland Hospital physician's office within their system to a PT office within the same system for a very real problem. Someone messed up the diagnosis code and so I was billed over $1500. I was given the run around which amounted to 9 months of my advocacy including over 30 phone calls, with both offices saying it was the fault of the other office. I went to Patient Relations for the hospital finally and was told, after a review, that remarkably took only a week or so, that "Holland Hospital has exhausted all efforts to ensure your billing concerns Rehabilitation services are accurate". I wonder what they mean by exhausted, or efforts? There is absolutely no accountability with this hospital or it's practices. If you can go somewhere else, please do.

    The ER and pathology departments SERIOUSLY dropped the ball. It has been over a MONTH and I still do not have access to testing results: On 8/26-27/23 I had the worst experience of my life. I suffered a spontaneous miscarriage at home and had to settle for Holland Hospital over U of M (where my OB is based) The nurses were absolutely amazing but the doctors were not. Even though we repeatedly told EVERYONE we delt with that night that we wanted genetic testing done on our baby they still managed to write down that we didn't... Thankfully my OB called their lab just in time to still have this testing be possible. (We THINK) Supposedly our baby was sent to another lab for genetic testing..a MONTH ago. Both myself and my OBs office have repeatedly called trying to get an answer/results with no success. I was told the order for genetic testing went thru but nothing else. Not even a real contact number for whichever lab our baby MIGHT be at. This is unacceptable. SOMEONE there has to know what happened (or didn't) after a basic pathology report was made. We deserve answers.

    This is the best hospital experience I've ever had. went in on a Friday night and they were fast, beyond kind, they hire amazingly well there. Attentive and understanding to situations and so prompt about everything

    I was treated very poorly. The doc was heartless and rude. He refused me Tylenol for a really bad headache. None of the employees were kind. They treated me like a burden and a subhuman because I was intoxicated, have a substance abuse and mental illness. I was then booted out in the dark as a woman in a strange town with no ride home. I sent 2 plus hours in the dark and cold hiding between big trees and bushes so I wasn't wondering the streets alone. I asked the security guard where I should go and he said to figure it out myself. The whole thing was heartless, dangerous, unprofessional and messed up. Never again will I go to that hospital. I want it made right. I was wronged at an extremely low point in my life. The wouldn't help me to get into rehab either. Said it was my problem. No wonder so many addicts and people with mental illness are afraid to ask for help. I'll tell u exactly why. Because of this horrible type of treatment. You can only be beat down so many times. I believe myself and any others who were treated poorly deserve an apology. We also deserve better treatment and therefore in depth training for your staff. Empathy should be their first lesson! Oh and wish I could give 0 stars. Phone: 6168081215-Deb waiting for my apology.

    It's an ok hospital but I don't like the phone system. I had a hearing aide appointment today. It was cancelled because my doctor was sick. That is completely understandable. They called to reschedule but the call showed up on my phone as Holland Bone Health. I figured it was a telemarketer or wrong number so I didn't answer. So I wasted time going to a cancelled appointment. They have real problems with their phone system. You can't just call your doctors office anymore. They texted me to confirm the appointment. They should have texted to cancel it. I would have seen a text. But why is my audiologist office showing up as bone health. They have to fix their phones

    If I could give them 0 stars I would. My dad was admitted there last week because he had a stroke. The care he received there was subpar at best. He was in the ICU and they were bringing him food that he couldn't eat and would leave him alone with his food. He has no use of his left arm and is having swallowing issues. We had T have his diet changed to soft foods, shouldn't they have done this? We had to push for them to clean him up, change his gown, etc. Every nurse, doctor, staff member told us a different story each day. DO NOT send your loved ones here.

    My sister was in from out of town and got tonsillitis in the worst case. Was evaluated by emergency room nurses and seen within an hour. Waiting room was fairly busy. I had never been to the hospital before but it was very clean and staff was overall helpful and friendly. We received the proper treatment and medication adjustments. I would personally feel comfortable coming back for any assistance with my personal health. Spent a couple hours receiving care but of course that's all depends on what your diagnosis is etc.

    If I could do a .5 of a star I would. Holland Hospital has had the most rudest nurses and doctors I've ever had. Every experience I've had there due to medical emergencies, they've had the rudest staff. I would much rather drive out further to get to a better hospital than to go to Holland Hospital which is like 5mins away from where I live.

    The worst hospital I've ever been in my life and I've had about ten major surgeries. Nurses yelling at me because I rolled over on my side in my sleep and very mean with no bedside manners. I wouldn't go back there if I thought I was dying!
