Everything in the previous posts are true, they outsource jobs to people that have no clue what they are doing. They had to come back 3 times to fix carpet i wanted in the bedroom. It looked like a 10 year old pieced it together the 1st time, second time I went to vacuum after they left a mess and the vacuum started to suck up the carpet. I was hung up on when I called the office to talk with the owner and the owner refused to call back. Big mistake hiring this company.

They're slow to respond to questions and inquiries, they refuse to take ownership of their work (Blaming it on subcontractors that they hire, at no point would they even offer to come visit and inspect their work). If an egress window isn't properly sealed on every corner of the exterior PVC trim, it's obviously not going to last long term, no clue how it passed final inspection (Inherited the window from a previous owner) I would avoid doing business with them.

I had West Michigan Construction services. Do repair work on my Home after a fire. AAA insurance company Asked if I could use them. They did great work for them in the past. My 1st visit with *************************** was amazing. He told me and My Agent exactly what they would do fix and repair. They did a good job on the repairs. Some things that needed to be fixed that is par for the course. When it came to the roof he said AAA only fixes the damages portion of the roof and I would to have 2 different color shingles on the roof My Agent said absolutly not it would hurt the resale value of the home. I was not going to use these guys. He told us if we use them he would make sure the roof would be covered. I signed the paperwork for them to do the job. after 80% of the job was finished I was asked to sign the work so they could get paid. I told him work was not finished. The deck is the wrong color. the roof needs flashing on it. He said we will take care of all this give me a PUNCH list. Still not done. And I got a bill for the roof. I called the roofer on this and the insurance on this and **** did not put in a claim. And when asked by My insurance company said. he never spoke to me about this. I have i signed statement from my agent on the dated and time we spoke. Until they finish there work. Do Not use these guys or *************************** for anything. They are not true to there word. and it will cost you money out of pocket. When i called WEST MICHIGAN COSTRUCTION SERVIES. all they say is we know nothing about this. I think *************************** lied to get the business. and will not fess up to What he did. I used this company for my work and now they will not even do any work for me again. I got no bids from him. And called him numerous times to get me the Quote. Now they will lose over a half million dollars of items we needed done.

These guys did a little of everything for me after storm damage -- total siding replacement, trim, gutters, new front door. Dan and Ken were easy to work with, and they were able to track down materials despite crazy Covid construction constraints. Fair pricing, responsive. I'd use them again if I needed to - but they gave my house a great makeover, so probably won't need to any time soon!Services: General door installation

BEWARE. DO NOT HIRE. I hired West Michigan Construction back around October of 2014. Dan is a horrible person to deal with, however, I needed to have my roof done and all the other roofing companies were booked out until the following March of 2015. Now I know why this company was available. Poor workmanship, poor communication and does not stand behind it workmanship and material. Dan is downright rude. The contractor that came out to perform the roofing did not communicate with me at all. He showed up at any time that pleased him including on a Sunday to work on the roof. Never at any point was I advised about the work schedule. We tried to point out a couple of issues and Dan ignored and called me a difficult person to deal with and than tried to charge me extra. Well, 6 years later I have mold growing on my garage ceiling where the outside chimney connects. The roofer did not install the flashing correctly around the chimney. I tried to call him and said I remember you. You are a difficult person to deal with and the labor is only 5 year warranty. Therefore, they are not standing behind the product. Nowhere in the contract does it state that workman ship is only 5 year warranty. It states that the material is 15 years but not the workman ship. Horrible company to deal with. May have to get my attorney involved.
