Jeremy and the guys at Tontin run the best lumber yard in town. The customer service is helpful and they will go out of their way to make sure I am able to get what I need for a project.
This is a woodworkers paradise. New ownership too over in January, and they've been making great improvements. Don't let the building fool you, inside you'll find a shop, mill, and retail limber and millwork that will serve any purpose you can throw at it.They do great work, can knock out limber orders for builders and carpenters, and have a really exciting inventory for woodworkers and weekend hobbyists. Everything you could ask for. I rarely write reviews but this place deserves it. I am a hobby woodworker who mostly bought materials from lowes and menards. I was a bit unsure of what I would find when I went for my first time and to my delight there were more choices than I had time for. To make it even better, the folks who work here are really excellent at giving genuine guidance on projects and options. Tontin will be the only place I buy lumber for the foreseeable future.
