I was able to enjoy a wonderful massage today at Woodhouse Spa- Grand Rapids today. Michelle was amazing. She gave an amazing massage. Strong hands , lots of attention to sensitive and tension areas. The staff is warm and inviting. The facility is so clean and well maintained. Not a lot of amenities, but the prices are fair.
I've been hearing good things about Woodhouse spa for a while now, but have been hasn't to go because of the price. Well, that changed when my friend took me there for a birthday treat. Don't get me wrong, the price is still up there, but they spare no expenses in giving you a very comfortable robe, a locker to put your things in, and complementary drinks ranging from coffee and tea to mimosas. The check in area is small and has a cute shop, where you can buy various beauty products that they use in their spa. My friend and I got the Swedish massages and with the intake form we are able to tell our masseuse where to focus. If you want deep pressure, or deep tissue, that's a different package, but depending on your masseuse, you might not need it. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and plan to return for another special occasion. As for parking it is very easy to access, because this location is right off the East Beltline in a strip mall.
My favorite place for ultimate relaxation! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. You will get your own locker with a robe and slippers to change into. I always try to get there 30-45 minutes before my appointment to give myself time to change and relax/have a tea or mimosa in the quiet room prior to my massage. I highly recommend Ashley! She is absolutely amazing and so good at what she does. I always feel so rejuvenated after I leave here!
