    I had a furniture claim that had taken way too long to resolve. I give them 4 stars only because of the quick turnaround time I received after reaching out to the upper management. Customer service was seemingly non-existent. I was under the impression maybe they only had 1 person handling claims. But I contacted upper management and brought the issue to their attention. They jumped on it within minutes and had the issue resolved within 24 hours. Hopefully it opened their eyes to the issues and they can address the communication issues that Guardsman has been having.

    I should give them no star rating but then this does not post.I filed a claim 10 months ago, service tech came out and took pictures. Now I cannot get anyone to help me - this place is a total rip off.I email them they tell me to call resolutions dept but nobody answers the phone in resolutions dept.

    Had a stain on an ottoman I purchased with the Guardsman insurance. Has taken 6 months and now they say they cannot replace the exact product and offer a low ball refund or store credit which then has to be used within 60 days or it's worthless. Will NEVER purchase this insurance again.Update: I requested a higher settlement option ($115) rather than the $85 offered since they couldn't replace the product as the warranty states. They agreed to the $115 refund but have since taken two weeks and now emailed me saying they decided to not pay that offer and have told me I have to take the $85. This company is a scam, plain and simple .
