Really great people to work with when choosing an instrument. Do a good job of making sure you know how to evaluate what instrument is best for you, but then leaving you alone to actually do it! Down to earth, approachable, and people you can trust.

The people at Grand Rapids Violins are great. I take all my violins and bows there now. Like most orchestra players, I have an expensive, pro-level instrument as well as a couple of much lesser, "sentimental" instruments. Grand Rapids Violins knows the difference - and I 100% trust them with both. For my pro instrument, cost is rarely the biggest concern. For my sentimental instruments, it's often the primary concern. They recently helped make one of these sentimental instruments usable for a very reasonable amount of money. They get it. I appreciate that so much.
