I had my first visit to GR Massage Life today, for the 85min deep tissue massage with Sara, and it was AMAZING! I had a lot of shoulder pain and tension and Sara really worked some magic on it. I have felt great ever since and will definitely be going back. The room was super relaxing and I loved chatting with Sara. I can't wait to return and will be recommending it to friends as much as possible.
I received a gift certificate to GRML and this was my first visit. The therapeutic massage was really incredible. In addition to Jason's intuitive massage and attentive service, this place is a hidden gem, located in Oakwood Manor - the 'Grand Old Lady' of Grand Rapids. As a lover of all things from ages past, I can only imagine how stunning she was in her prime. For anyone who loves timeless elegance, the sense of history here adds a special charm to the excellent experience inside.
I didn’t have the best experience today. In fact, for the first time ever, I opted to end a massage early. I’ve heard nothing but good things about GRML and the reviews here back that up but we all have “off” days and, unfortunately, that’s how I felt the day was going for therapist working on me today. That said, I couldn’t, in good faith, leave a poor star rating based on this as it could be just a one-off. I will give them another chance in the future and, hopefully, I’ll get the same caliber of service everyone else is experiencing.
