Originally, our house had an outside well, where the pipe came through the wall. After we got city water, the pipe through the wall was removed, but a small amount of water would seep through some kind of crack. This would leak approximately once per year, when the water level would rise outside the house. We would roll back the carpet and use a wet vac and fans to survive that week or so. Hank diagnosed our basement issue, provided an estimate which agreed to and then proceeded to schedule the repairs for a couple weeks out.
Day of demolition he discovered the repair would be about half the cost. Needless to say I was surprised by his phone call and was so appreciative of his integrity! Saved me nearly $3k.
