“Genuinely love coming here to get my braids done. As a single mom of 3 it makes it a bit more attainable.

That said, the real reason I have enjoyed my braiding sessions is because the students help one another out, give each other constructive criticism and do a stellar job, the instructors are so good and float around to make sure everything is ok. The energy I have received from the students and faculty who have ended up braiding my hair is excitement and achievement and confidence. Love it.

Something to keep in mind is that for braids they are learning and growing. You can’t expect something from students that someone with 20 years of braiding experience can give you.

“Had to wait but that's my fault because I didn't schedule an appointment. As soon as a pedicure chair was available you had me in the chair and started working. Most of the time you do a great job. I didn't like the last lady I had as she was on her phone watching a movie, I think, the entire time she was giving me a pedicure and manicure. I very rarely get a manicure because I don't usually like the way my nails look when done, and that time was no exception. On the whole, I like what you do.“

“My daughter has always done her hair her with Alyssa, so she took me here for my birthday to get my hair done for the first time. The place was clean & had a nice vibe/ atmosphere upon walking in. I told Alyssa what I was looking for but also showed her a few pictures of a few different styles I liked. She listened & immediately had a plan. I told her I was game to try new things/ colors. Somewhat grey now with age, she matched my regular natural color & hilighted areas of my head throughout. I loved the colors she chose & the haircut she did for me! She's an absolute gem in this place!! Her professionalism & input helped me out so much! I will be going back to Alyssa for sure to redo my hair needs & hair cut.
