ATLANTIC COAST BASEMENT WATERPROOFING INC.
“As a retired engineer, I tend to look at home projects with a very detailed eye, focusing heavily on quality and process control. We recently bought a 1920s lake house that needed serious waterproofing work, and I brought out three companies for inspections. While two well-known competitors gave us generic, one-size-fits-all sales pitches, Gary and his son Leo from Atlantic Coast Waterproofing stood out immediately. Gary conducted a rigorous investigation, spotting specific structural conditions and older drainage forms that the other companies completely missed. He then spent nearly 45 minutes sketching out the sub-grade conditions, detailing the precise construction plan, and outlining the specific materials they would use.
When the project got underway, the execution and site logistics were flawless. I was amazed by their strict containment protocol; every single bit of excavated dirt and old concrete was shoveled directly into buckets and hauled out without ever touching our basement floor. They used the exact same clean process when bringing in the new stone and concrete. Even though the tear-up was extensive, Gary’s team was incredibly efficient, keeping the entire job site unbelievably clean from start to finish. On top of their impressive work ethic, the crew was polite and great to work with. Contractually, nobody in the business touches Gary’s warranty on workmanship, giving us total peace of mind. Atlantic Coast Waterproofing delivers real technical precision and care, and they have my highest recommendation.”
