My 2013 Town and Country (155K mi) went into 'limp home mode' (2nd gear). Went to the dealer which showed a low/high pressure fault,.P0868 & P1745. Dealer stated all they could do is check for metal shavings in the oil pan, and if any found they would have to replace the trans ($7500). I took it to Todd at Cuddy who stated it could just be a fault that can be cleared, and it should be Ok. Sure enough it took several tries but in the end he cleared the code for free and the trans is fine. He stated if it comes back they can do a solenoid repair for ~$1000 which is the most typical issue, this can be done in 1 day! Honest, immediate service. Great shop - nice experience. Friendly, professional service! I bought my car here for a 'second' opinion re. a costly transmission repair estimate from another 'fancy' suburban transmission shop. Cuddy Brothers diagnosed the cars transmission as having a linkage issue -- less than one-third the cost of other shop. I highly recommend!Service: Transmission

Highly recommended!!! After another local auto shop in Livonia failed to properly diagnose and fix a small leak that was occurring with my E-150 trans, they gave me an option to install a rebuilt trans for $4400……which was absolutely unnecessary.After receiving a recommendation from a mechanic friend, I immediately took the vehicle down the road to Cuddy’s Transmission where Todd Cuddy went out of his way to not only stay open late to get my van into the shop that night for a look , the next morning he made a few calls to his other customers asking if they would mind him putting there jobs on hold so that he could get me back on the road and back to work.He quickly...read full review
