“I'm so sad to learn Stahl and Sons has gone out of business. They worked on my old oil furnace for over 20 years, and put in a new oil furnace a few years ago. Must have been shortly before they closed. They were always quick to respond and corrected any problems just as fast and professionally. I'm sorry to read some had issues with them because my decades long experiences with them working on the furnace or ac was always good. Wishing all their employees well wherever they've gone for work.“

The list was generated by her and some of her associates from positive experiences from their clients.Our furnace stopped working, of course right at closing time for the day. She was unable to get a technician to my house until early the next day. He said I needed a new control board or a new furnace and a sales team member would call me the next day and discuss my options.The first thing the next morning I received a phone call from Fran with Austin HVAC. She was checking to see if we still need her technician to come out. What great and personal customer service. I told her what happened and since I was told I may need a new furnace I wanted Austin HVAC to come out and also give me a quote. Fran said that she would have Steve Austin come out and take a look. He was at the house within an hour.While we were waiting for Steve to arrive I received a call from the other HVAC company. They said that they had the control board I needed replaced and said it would be $1000 for the part plus labor. They also told me a new furnace would be about $10,000Steve Austin looked at my furnace and said he did not think there was anything wrong with my control board but he had a new one at his shop that he could install if needed. The cost $450 not $1000. Steve sent one of his technicians over to the house about an hour later. The technician found that there was nothing wrong with the control board and that there were only a couple of minor maintenance issues that needed addressing. The furnace was soon up and running for a total cost of $150. Steve Austin called me twice during the process to update me on the status of the repair.From my first call to the completion of the job everyone we dealt with at Austin HVAC was kind, concerned and customer focused. The is a great example of a honest family run local business that cares about it customers not just how much money they can make.“
